The Menagerie at the Beach
Join in a presentation and discussion of how the fish communities of Long Island Sound have changed over the last 30 years. Penny Howell, Senior Fisheries Biologist CT DEEP Marine Fisheries Division will show the results of comprehensive surveys of the Sound which have catalogued over 145 species of fish which make up a dynamic menagerie reflecting tremendous productivity as well as shifting habitats.
